In Cuttack, Odisha, The Jagannath Travels bus passing over the Mahanadi Bridge fell to the Alappuzha river. There are over 50 to 60 passengers in the bus. So far, 12 bodies have been recovered from the bus. Another 20 people were taken to hospital. Those who are trapped in the bus are taken out of the ladders. Locals say that the bus collided with the river and fell down a ghat while the district was approaching Cuttack from Talkal. The bus that hit the river with 50 passengers!
The AC bus was stuck in the bus. At the bottom of the bridge the bus fell to the river about 40 feet. The authorities have been alerted to the information received. The disaster management department, firefighters and police are undergoing assistance in the incident site. 10 ambulances are being put in place to mobilize casualties to hospitals.The bus that hit the river with 50 passengers!
